Nasdaq futures point higher as Iran tensions overshadow Fed build-up

  • US stock futures were volatile as Wednesday's opening bell approached, with tensions remaining high in the Middle East as Iran rejected President Trump's call for "unconditional surrender", overshadowing the run-up to the Federal Reserve decision later.  Futures for the Nasdaq were up 0.1%, while those for the S&P 500 and Dow Jones were only just above flat.
