U.S. Durable Goods Orders Sink on Lower Aircraft Orders

    Total orders for goods made to last at least three years, such as automobiles, planes and electronic equipment, were 9.3% lower in June than in May, Commerce Department data said Friday. Economists polled by The Wall Street Journal expected an 11.1% slump.
